This page explains what personal information Groundsman collects and how it is used. It covers the marketing site at groundsman.uk and the Groundsman app at groundsman.app.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address and message, so we can reply to you.
- Product updates (optional). If you tick the box on the contact form, your name and email address are added to our mailing list.
- Usage analytics. Page views and button clicks on this site, collected with Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies to track you across sites.
- Your club's data in the app. Account details (such as your name and email address) and the maintenance, machinery and work records your club enters. This is held on behalf of your club.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry.
- To send product updates, only if you asked for them. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To understand which parts of the site are useful, and to run and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who handles it for us
- Vercel hosts the site and provides analytics.
- Resend delivers contact-form messages and product-update emails.
- Google Firebase provides sign-in and data storage for the app.
These providers process data on our behalf and may do so outside the UK.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Club data in the app is kept while the club uses Groundsman and is removed on request.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how it is used, or withdraw consent for emails at any time. Use the contact form to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If we change this page, we will update the date at the top.
